Our tradjazz ensemble "The Dixie Hot Licks" with the charming leading lady and singer comes from Pilsen, the well-known „beer city“.
We are a group of seven professional and half-professional musicians who found liking in the New Orleans music of 1s. Our authentic interpretation of this music comes from the traditional Dixieland ensemble including tuba, banjo and washboard.
Our live concerts are actually alive thanks to positively charged music, spontaneous show, and to our time to time walks among the audience doing the marching band classic show, which puts everybody in the mood to dance.
The Dixie Hot Licks can make the right atmosphere for every occasion there is, and it doesn´t matter whether it is a wedding, garden party or a steamboat cruise. If it is not enough that we can speak 5 languages, our music can do the rest and break all remaining barriers.
We play cover songs from 1920's and 1930's. We can play up to 7 hours!
