ZEM, gives harp music a completely new sound: from Beethoven to Jimi Hendrix, from Brassens to Patti Smith.

ZEM, a classical trained harpist and songwriter sings her own songs & compositions and those of her heroes, accompanied by her semi-electric harp and percussion - as a one-women band. 
During her very first performance, ZEM won the TV5 Monde Audience Award.

Born in Ethiopia, raised in Belgium, classically trained, innovative in vocation, hip-hop as roots, French

chansons as guilty pleasure, blues as experience, jazz as rhythm, soul as prophecy: ZEM!
ZEM can be booked for CONCERTS and FESTIVALS as well as for EVENTS and PARTIES

ZEM is available for CONCERTS & FESTIVALS with a full evening program that tells its story in songs (2x 45') (see video "Trailer").

ZEM is also available for EVENTS and PARTIES with a tailor-made program in different genres: jazz, songs, hip-hop, blues, dance, soul, … (see videos).
